abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a glass-fiber-reinforced polyester resin composition having excellent tensile strength and resistance to hydrolysis, composed of a thermoplastic polyester resin, glass fiber treated its surface with a poly-functional epoxy compound, and a neutral or partially neutralized montan wax (exter) salt. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester resin composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin, (B) 5W200 parts by weight of glass fiber treated with 0.1W10 wt%, based on the glass flber, of a poly-functional epoxy compound such as alkylene polyol glycide ether, vinylcyclohexene dioxide, etc. and (C) 0.05W3 parts, pref. 0.1W1.5 parts by weight of a metal salt (Na, K, Ba, Mg, Ca, Al etc.) of a neutral or partially neutralized montan wax or montan wax ester. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
