abstract PURPOSE: A vulcanizing composition vulcanizable readily and effectively into materials having improved heat and oil resistance, comprising a hlogen-containing polymer, 3,5-dimethymercapto-1,2,4-tricazole, and a metallic compound as an acid acceptor. n CONSTITUTION: A vulcanizing composition comprising (A) 100 parts by wt. of a halogen-containing polymer, e.g. chlorinated polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride, (B) 0.1W10 parts by wt. of a compound of formula I or II: (R 1 is H, 1W18C alkyl cycloalkyl, alkenyl group, etc.; R 2 and R 3 are H 1 alkali metal, etc.), e.g. 3,5- dimercapto-1,2,4-triazole, and (C) 0.5W50 parts by wt. of a metallic compound, e.g. an oxide, hydroxide, carbonate of a metal of Group II, or an oxide of basic carbonate of a metal of Group VIa in the periodic table. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
