Remarkably high solubility in organic solvents compared with alkali metal salt of TCNQ. Useful to prepare a highly conductive complex by reacting with an electron donative compound. n PROCESS: The compound I is prepared by reacting an alkali metal salt of TCNQ with a crown compound such as 15-crown-5 of formula II and cryptand [2,2,2] in a solvent such as methanol, at 50W100°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
