abstract PURPOSE: An insecticide against agriculturally or sanitarilly harmful insects that contains N-pyridiyloxyphenyl urea compound as the effective component. n CONSTITUTION: Compounds of formula I (X 1 is F, Cl; X 2 is H, F; Y 1 is F, Br, trifluoromethyl; Y 2 is H, halogen. Z 1 is halogen, trifluoromethyl; Z 2 is H, halogen) as N-(2,6-difluorobenzoyl)-N'-[3-fluoro-4-(3-chloro-5-trifluoromethylpyridine-2-yloxy)phenylurea is used as the effective ingredient and prepared together with additives, emulsifier or base powder in an concentration of less than 10,000ppm, preferably 20W2,000ppm. The preparation effectively kills larvae of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Diptera, etc. The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III in a solvent as benzene. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
