PURPOSE: A filler for joints of concrete structures, having improved thermal and storage stabilities, and oil resistance, comprising a specific coal tar, coal pitch, a synthetic resin, and a plasticizer. n CONSTITUTION: 10W40wt% of a coal tar having a distillate up to 350°C≥50% is mixed with 5W15wt% of a coal pitch having a melting point of 100W140°C, and 2W25wt% of a vinyl chloride resin. 20W40wt% of the mixture of DOP and DOA in any proportion as a plasticizer is added to the mixture at 35°C or below with stirring to give a uniform filler without gelation. The filler is heated to 120W160°C in application to afford a liquid rich in fluidity, which forms joints having improved viscoelasticity, oil resistance, and adhesivity after cooling useful for runways or parking lots. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
