titleOfInvention | Solubilized insecticide |
abstract | PURPOSE: A solubilized insecticide having improved solubility, prepared by mixing oil-soluble chlordane with a coupling agent in a large amount, a surfactant and a solvent. n CONSTITUTION: A solubilized insecticide prepared by mixing (A) oil-soluble chlordane (chemical name: octachloro-hexahydro-methanoindene) with (B) 5wt% or more of a surfactant, e.g. nonionic higher fatty acid ester of polyethylene glycol, (C) 5W30wt% of a coupling agent, e.g. proply or octyl alcohol, and, if necessary, (D) a solvent, e.g. an organic solvent or water, for adjusting the concentration, with stirring. The insecticide has a finer particle size, better dispersibiliy, permeability, and storage stability than the conventional emulsions. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
