titleOfInvention Curing agent for epoxy resin
abstract PURPOSE: A curing agent for epoxy resins capable of giving cured articles having improved flexibility, water resistance, and adhesiveness, with little toxicity to the skin, comprising an adduct of diaminocyclohexane with a vinyl compound having an electron attractive group. n CONSTITUTION: A curing agent comprising an adduct of (A) diaminocyclohexane or its mixture with an amine with (B) a vinyl compound having an electron attractive group. The adduct can be obtained by dropping (B) to (A) at 20W120°C, preferably 60W90°C for 1W5hr. The amount of (B) is 0.1W0.9 mole, preferably 0.2W0.6 mole, per active amino hydrogen atom. The mixture of the diaminocyclohexane and amine may be a by-product (initial distillate) formed in preparing hexamethylenediamine from acrylonitrile. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
