titleOfInvention 2-phenyl-substituted-1-phthalazone derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:2-Phenyl-substituted-1-phthalazone of formula I (R 1 , R 2 are lower alkyl; R 3 is alkyl; R 4 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy; R 5 is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, carboxyl, alkoxycarbonyl). n EXAMPLE: 7-Ethoxycarbonyl-6,8-dimethyl-4-hydroxymethyl-2-(0-methoxyphenyl)-1- phthalazone. n USE: Remedy and prophylaxis for thrombosis, temporary cardiac ischemia, cardiac infarction, etc., effective to suppress the platelet agglutination caused by arachidonic acid. n PROCESS: The compound I is prepared by reducing a reactive derivative of a carboxylic acid II with boron hydride complex compound in a solvent, and if necessary, hydrolyzing the product. The compound II is a novel compound and can be prepared from a compound III. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
