titleOfInvention Air pressure pump
abstract PURPOSE: To prevent water shock to check valve in continuous liquid transferring, one pump unit discharges liquid immediately before the other pump unit stops liquid discharge and inlet and exhaust valves are controlled. n CONSTITUTION: When unit 10 starts to discharge liquid, unit 10' still continue to discharge liquid and check valve 5' is open. Meanwhile the level of tank 1' in the unit 10' falls to the lowest limit, and one contact of level switch opens. The other contact of the switch closes to demagnetize the solenoid 22' and inlet valve 2' closes, completing the liquid discharge and energizing timer T2. Thereafter, while the pressure in the tank 1' and pipe 51' are balanced, the check valve 5' closes, contact t2 of timer T2 closes and the unit 10 starts to intake liquid. Then, immediately before the level of tank 1 in the unit 10 reaches the lowest limit, the unit 10' starts to discharge liquid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
