titleOfInvention Non-aqueous electrolyte cell
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a cell in which the change of the total height of cell accompanied with discharge is small and the capacity deterioration rate is small by using lithium as cathode and a mixture of iron sulfide and copper oxide in a specific ratio as anode active substance. CONSTITUTION:An anode 1 is inserted into an anode can 2, and electrolyte absorbing body 3 is loaded on the anode. A stainless steel net 7 is welded inside a negative terminal plate 6, and the lithium cathode 8 is press-fitted onto the stainless steel net. Between the both, an annular gasket 4 is interposed, and sealing is performed, and thus a cell is formed. As the active substance of the anode 1, a mixture of iron sulfide, for example ferrous sulfide, ferric sulfide, or iron disulfide, and 5-30wt% of copper oxide for, for example, cuprous oxide or cupric oxide is used.
