titleOfInvention Slime control agent
abstract PURPOSE: The title slime control agent, capable of producing a powerful synergistic antibacterial effect in a small amount than the individual agent, while maintaining the antibacterial spectrum of constituents, and comprising 4,5-dichloro-1,2-dithiol- 3-one and a specific constituent as active components. n CONSTITUTION: A mixed agent comprising 4,5-dichloro-1,2-dithiol-3-one and bis- (tribromomethyl)sulfone at a weight ratio of 1:1 or more, preferably 1:10W80, and usable as a uniform solution in a hydrophilic organic solvent in a concentration of several ppm with a surfactant. The mixed system inhibits the growth of bacteria, permits a sharp decrease in the amount of the drug, and reduces the cost so much. The agent is added to industrial water, e.g. cooling, washing or raw water. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
