abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricating and rust-proofing agent capable of giving an excellent rust-proofing effect to copper or copper alloys without discoloring them due to its residence, from a benzotriazole-amine addition salt, castor oil, and a saturated primary alcohol. n CONSTITUTION: A lubricating and rust-proofing agent consists of 0.02W5.0wt% a benzotriazole-amine addition salt obtained from the reaction of benzotriazole and a water-soluble amine, 5.0W30wt% castor oil, and a 4 or less C saturated primary alcohol. The benzotriazole-amine addition salt used includes benzotriazole-monoethanolamine salt, benzotriazole-diethylamine salt, benzotriazole-cyclohexylamine salt, and preferably, a 1-hydroxybenzotriazole-amine addition salt obtained from the reaction of 1-hydroxybenzotriazole and an amine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
