titleOfInvention Pattern for casting
abstract PURPOSE: The soft pattern for casting which is composed of the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin in which the vinyl acetate is of the specific content, which is sufficient in surface hardness and strength and which is inexpensive and reusable. n CONSTITUTION: The pattern having resilience used for rapping of the pattern of the case when there is no draft and the case when blades of impeller patterns, etc. are twisted is made by the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin which contains vinyl acetate at 6W40% based on weight. Such resin is melted at about 160W200°C, is poured or force-fed into molds such as wooden patterns or metal molds, and is cooled and frozen in said molds, whereby it is molded to the pattern for casting. If the vinyl acetate contents in this resin are out of the foregoing range, fluidity is poor at the resin melting and is not suitable for molding. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
