PURPOSE: A vulcanizable elastomer having excellent heat resistance, oil resistance and resistance to low temperature brittleness, prepared by adding an amine type vulcanizing agent to a copolymer of ethylene, a (meth)acrylate ester and an unsaturated glycidyl ester. n CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (1) a copolymer, melt index 1W500g/ min, prepared by copolymerizing (A) 50W85mol% ethylene, (B) 50W15mol% acrylate ester or a methacrylate ester and (C) 0.1W5mol% unsaturated glycidyl ester, (2) at least one vulcanizing agent selected from the group consisting of a polyfunctional organic amine or a salt thereof, an ammonium salt of an organic carboxylic acid, a dithiocarbamate, a thiourea derivative and an acid anhydride and (3) optionally, an additive selected from the group consisting of various vulcanization accelerators, various fillers and various stabilizers. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
