titleOfInvention Method of producing film for printing wrapping
abstract PURPOSE: To produce the above-mentioned film showing a good adhesion to a printing ink, by melting and extruding a compound of polyester containing polyethylene glycol and ethylene terephthalate and stretching the extruded compound into the form of a film. n CONSTITUTION: A compound is formed of the following components (A) and (B). (A) a polyester master containing polyethylene glycol prepared by adding 1.0 to 40 wt% of polyethylene glycol of a molecular weight of 5000 to 200000 to a polyester having ethylene telephthalate content in excess of 80 wt%, before the completion of melting and polymerization. These components are molten and polymerized to form the above mentioned polyester master. (B) a polyester containing no polyethylene glycol and having an ethylene telephthalate component in excess of 80 wt%. This component (B) is added to the component (A) such that the polyethylene glycol content of the compound falls between 0.5 and 10 wt%. This compound is molten and extruded into the form of a film and is subjected to a biaxial stretching and heat treatment to become the film product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
