titleOfInvention Enzyme adsorbent and refining method of enzyme
abstract PURPOSE: To make possible the refining of a large amount of enzyme with good efficiency by letting the liquid containing crude enzyme contact the enzyme adsorbent comprising bonding the specific amino compound directly or by way of spacers to a water-insoluble carrier. n CONSTITUTION: The enzyme adsorbent obtained by coupling the compound expressed by the general formula (1) [A; phenylene, naphthylene or the novel compound shwon in formula (2)] directly or by way of spacers of the water insoluble carrier, e.g., agarose or celluloses, which can react and couple with the amino groups bound to A of the compound mentioned above, has strong affinity to enzymes. This adsorbent is contacted with the crude urokinase containing urokinase used in combination with anticancerous medicines so that the above enzyme is adsorbed to the adsorbent. By using a suitable elute, enzyme is eluted from the adsorbent, whereby the refining of a large amount of enzyme with good efficiency is made possible. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
