abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a selective permeable membrane for separating gases with high oxygen permeability by a method wherein a specified N, N-dialkylaminoisophthalic acid among total dicarboxylic acid components in a polyester is contained above a definite amount. n CONSTITUTION: A selective permeable membrane with excellent gas permeability is formed by a polyester with a skeleton of dicarboxylic acid components containing at least 25mol% of an N, N-dialkylaminoisophthalic acid of the general formula I, where R 1 and R 2 are 1W30°C alkyl group.
