titleOfInvention Method of extraction of protein in waste water from dissection of animal
abstract PURPOSE: Waste water from the dissection of animals is specifically treated and the protein is extracted threfrom, thus permitting the effective utilization of said protein and at the same time facilitating the disposal of the waste water to prevent the pollution. n CONSTITUTION: The hydrogen ion concentration of the waste water from the dissection of animals containing blood or others, which is produced from the animal and fish meats in the production of pressed ham or dried bonito, is adjusted near the isoelectric point of the soluble protein of the animal with an acid as citric, malic or acetic acid or an acidic salt as acidic sodium pyrophosphate and incorporated with a protein coagulant as calcium sulphate or magnesium chloride at a temperature over room one, preferably 50W60°C, to form a sludge of the protein. The sludge is separated by filtration. When the waste water is fresh and the additives can be used as food, the sludge can be utilized as food or feed for animals. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
