titleOfInvention Production of sheet material of polyurethane resin
abstract PURPOSE: In addition to an organic isocyanate, a high-molecular-weight diol, a compound bearing active hydrogens, a specific diol component and active-hydrogen compound are employed and they are made to react, producing title sheet with good dyeing property, high mechanical strength, water resistance and storage stability. n CONSTITUTION: Besides (A) an organic diisocyanate such as 4,4'-diphenyl-methanediisocyanate, (B) a high-molecular diol such as polytetramethylene adipate diol and (C) a low-molecular difunctional compound bearing active hydrogens such as ethylene glycol, (D) (a) a low-molecular diol containing quarternary nitrogen atoms, its polyether or its polyester diol as a part for component B and/or C and (b) a low-molecular, quarternary nitrogen-free and difunctional compound bearing active hydrogens as component C are combined and they are made to react, forming a polymer solution, which is applied to a base material and treated by a wet or dry method to produce said sheet material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
