titleOfInvention Opaque synthetic fiber with reduced metal-wearing property and low friction and fabric therefrom
abstract PURPOSE: Title fiber that contains specific amounts of titanium dioxide and calcium carbonate at a specific ratio, thus having practical opacity, reduced metal-wearing property, reduced waxy feel, and mild gloss. n CONSTITUTION: To the polymer for producing synthetic fibers are added 0.3W3.0 wt%, based on the polymer, of titanium dioxide and 1.5W5.0wt% of calcium carbonate. The resulting fibers with practical opacity, strength, elongation and reduced metal-wearing property can be woven or knitted with no trouble during operation. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
