titleOfInvention | Foamable resin particle and production thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce title resin particles having excellent foamability and retention of blowing agents, which can provide highly expanded elastic moldings, by impregnating extruded pieces containing a styrene resin and a crosslinked nitrile/diene copolymer rubber with a blowing agent. n CONSTITUTION: To 100pts.wt. of (A) a styrene resin there are added 10W100 pts.wt. of (B) a nitrile/diene copolymer rubber and 0.5W3pts.wt. 100pts.wt. of (B), of (C) a crosslinking agent, such as sulfur or dicumyl peroxide. The resulting mixture is kneaded at 180W200°C, while crosslinking the component (B), and then, extruded into pieces. The pieces are suspended in water, and impregnated with 3W15wt% of a pentane-based blowing agent at 50W120°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
