titleOfInvention System for driving pulse motor
abstract PURPOSE:To rotate a rotor for a pulse motor at low vibration by controlling the magnetomotive force variations when switching the phase of the motor by a pulse duration modulation signal having a constant sampling period. CONSTITUTION:A program for generating a pulse duration modulation signal PI is stored in a memory MEMO using an input/output device KB. This program consists of parameters such as a sampling synchronization, pulse duration, phase shifting, etc. and a sequence for outputting a pulse train, and a sequence for determining speed control mode. When the objective position of a rotor for the motor is set by the device KB, a signal is communicated through buses, and the program content is processed to the signal PI by a microprocessor muP. The signal PI is then converted a pulse duration modulation signal PI'of level for operating an energizing circuit AMP in an interface circuit I/O, which signal PI' drives through the circuit AMP the pulse motor PM.
