abstract NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula (R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 are H, amino-group- protecting group; n is 1, 2). n EXAMPLE: N-(N ε -lysyl-lysyl)-D-glucosamine. n USE: Antiviral agent or its intermediate. They show, in vitro, activities of prohibiting the porliferation of cancer cells such as those of humam lymphadenomatosis, mice ascites-tumor and of viruses such as those of para-influenza, vesicular stomatitis or simple eruption. n PREPARATION: A compound of formula II (R 1 ' and R 3 ' are H, amino group-protecting groups), when R 3 ' is H, it is converted into an amino group-protecting group or when R 1 ' is an amino group-protecting group, the protecting group is removed, is acylated with a compound of formula III (R 4 and R 5 are amino group-protecting groups) in the ε-amino group, when necessary, the acylation is repeated to give the compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
