titleOfInvention Sliding material containing melamine/(iso)cyanuric acid adduct
abstract PURPOSE: Title inexpensive self-lubricating sliding material which is ecellent in frictional property and appearance, and also colorable, and which retains properties inherent in resins, such as lightweight, prepared by molding a resin containing a melamine/(iso)cyanuric acid adduct. n CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution of melamine and an aqueous solution of (iso)cyanuric acid are mixed. The melamine/(iso)cyanuric acid adduct, which separates as a precipitate, is filtered, dried, and pulverized to a while powder having a diameter of about 0.1W1 micron. Subsequently, 0.3W200pts.wt., pref. 5W100pts.wt., of the melamine/(iso)cyanuric acid adduct and 100pts.wt. of a resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyacryl resin, or polyvinyl chloride are combined and blended well in a blender. The resulting blend is made into the sliding material of the purpose by operation such as pelletizing through an extruder. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
