abstract PURPOSE:Cosmetics for skin that is made by adding allantoin and aloe essence to a consmetic base containing a surfactant, thus having a high effect of curing wounds. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic base containing a surfactant is combined with allantoin or its derivative and aloe essence and they are used as after-shave lotion, toilet water or shaving cream or soap. The amounts of allantoin or its derivative and aloe essence added are 0.01-10, preferably 0.05-5% and 0.01-20, preferably 0.05-10% respectively. The both components produce synergism to increase the effect of curing wounds and the consmetics can be used suitably for wounds, chaps and kibes.
