titleOfInvention Photo-setting heat-resistant adhesive
abstract PURPOSE: A photo-sensitive adhesive usable for bonding glass together, having improved heat resistance, comprising polyvinyl formal resin, a hydroxyl group- containing (meth)acrylate and a photosensitizer. n CONSTITUTION: A photo-setting adhesive for bonding glass together comprising (A) 5 wt.% or more of a polyvinyl formal resin, preferably having a formalization degree of 60W70% and a polymerization degree of 200W1,000, (B) a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylate, e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and (C) 0.5W 5 wt.% of a photosensitizer, e.g. benzoin ethyl ether. This adhesive is useful for bonding glass, e.g. window panes of electronic cooking ranges or instantaneous water heaters, always exposed to heat together. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
