abstract PURPOSE: To provide a remedy for mycobacteriosis, effective for the remdy of tuberclosis etc., containing concardicin A as an effective component. n CONSTITUTION: A remedy for mycobacteriosis of man, dog, mink, canary, parakeet, aquarium fish, etc., containing nocardicin A or its salt, or a mixture of nocardicin A and cycloserine or their salts. The remedy is effective to various typical mycobacteriosis (tuberclosis by Mycobacterium tuberclosis) and non-typecal mycobacteriosis. Cycloserine has additive effect against mycobacterium. The weight ratio of nocardicin A to cycloserine is 10:1 - 1:10. Dose: 5-200 mg/kg/day; e.g. 1-5 g/day for adult, and about 30 mg/kg/day for infant. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
