PURPOSE:To prepare a silver halide photographic material having high storage stability of color images, by using a specified hydroquinone derivative and a triazole derivative in comnination. CONSTITUTION:To a photographic material are added in combination a compound of formula I in which R is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or a heterocylic group; R1, R2, and R3 are H, halogen, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkoxy, or the like; X is -CO-, -SO2-, -NHSO2-, or -NHCO-; and Z is an atomic group needed to form a chroman or coumaran ring; and a compound of formula II in which R10 is H, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, acyl, or the like; R11-R15 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkoxy, or the like, otherwise they may close with an adjacent group to form a 5 or 6 membered ring. |
