abstract PURPOSE: A thin plate of thermoplastic resin is placed on the bottom of the mold lower half and a urethane resin is poured and foamed into monolithic article and simultaneously vacuum is applied to the embossing part of the bottom of the mold lower half, thereby producing construction materials having clear-cut emboss patterns on the surface. n CONSTITUTION: Prescribed emboss pattern negative 6 is formed on the bottom surface of mold lower half and connected through small holes 7, pipes 8 and valves 9 to vacuum tank 10. A sheet 1 of vinyl chloride resin of 1 mm thickness and about 60°C softening point is placed on the bottom of mold lower half 5 and a sol of urethane resin 14 of 80W100°C is poured thereon to effect foaming and simultaneously to soften the vinyl chloride resin sheet 1. Then valve 9 is opened to such the sheet 1 to emboss pattern negative 6, thereby producing costruction material of molithic structure consisting of sheet 1 with embossed parts 3 and urethane resin foam 2. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
