titleOfInvention Production of riboflavin-5'-monophosphate
abstract PURPOSE: The reaction of riboflavin with phosphorus oxyhalide or its hydrate is conducted in a specific solvent such as trialkoxyalkyl phosphate to produce title compound having vitamin B 2 activity in high yield and selectivity. n CONSTITUTION: Riboflavin-5'-monophosphate is prepared by the reaction of riboflavin with phosphorus oxyhalide or its hydrate wherein as a solvent is employed at least one selected from the group consisting of trialkoxyalkyl phosphates, monoalkyldialkoxyalkyl phosphates, monoalkoxyalkyldialkyl phosphates and the amount of the solvent is 5W30 times the weight of riboflavin and the phosphorylation agent is 2.0W20 times the molar quantity of riboflavin. n EFFECT: The solvents employed in the reaction and extraction processes can be recovered in high rate, thus the method is practically advantageous. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
