titleOfInvention Flame-retardant polyamide resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: The title composition having improved moldability free from emitting corrosive gases in injection molding or burning, comprising a polyamide resin, a melamine-cyanurate adduct, and an adduct formed from a specific organic acidic compound. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyamide resin is incorporated with (B) 1W40 wt.% of a flame-retardant consisting of (a) 5W95 wt.% of a melamine-cyanurate adduct obtained by mixing a blend of equimolar amounts of melamine and cyanunic acid in hot water solvent, and (b) 95W5 wt.% of an adduct obtained by mixing a blend of equimolar amounts of melamine and an organic acidic compound, e.g. sulfanilic acid, 2-bromo-6-chlorosulfanilic acid, etc., having a sulfo or sulfino group, in hot water solvent. n EFFECT: High-degree flame retardancy V-O according to UL-94 can be secured. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
