titleOfInvention Activated sludge disposal plant
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a compact, efficient titled plant, by concentrically mounting partition walls communicated at a bottom to a tank body, and by using an inner layer portion as an aeration tank and an outer layer portion as a sedimentation tank. n CONSTITUTION: Waste water is fed to a falling portion 8d of a 1st stage aeration tank 5a, and air is supplied from an air dispersion nozzle 9a while air is mixed with sludge. Waste water is gravity rotated to a rising portion 10d from the falling portion 8d, and air is further fed from an air dispersion nozzle 11a in the rising portion 10d. Waste water aeration disposed reaches a 1st stage sedimentation chaber through a portion partitioned by partition walls 7a, 3a, sludge and clear water are sedimentation separated, sludge accumulates to a lower portion of a sedimentation tank 4a, disposing water is collected at a water collecting and trough 12a at an upper portion of the sedimentation tank 4a by overflow, and the disposing water is introduced to an aeration tank 5b of a 2nd stage disposal device B from the water collecting trough 12a by natural flowing-down due to the difference of level and extracted from an extracting port 12c through the same process as a 1st stage disposal device A. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
