titleOfInvention Preparation of optically active m-hydroxyphenylglycine
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare optically active m-hydroxyphenylglycine by the assymmetric hydrolysis of N-acyl-m-hydroxy-DL-phenylalanine with mold aminoacylase. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture of m-hydroxyl-L-phenylglycine and N-acetyl-or N- chloroacetyl-m-hydroxy-D-phenylglycine is obtained by the assymmetric hydrolysis of N-acetyl- or N-chloroacetyl-m-hydroxy-DL-phenylalanine with mold aminoacylse. The N-acetyl- or N-chlorozcetyl-m-hydroxy-D-phenylglycine is separated from the mixtrue, and hydrolyzed with e.g. HCl to afford m-hydroxy-D-phenylglycine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
