PURPOSE: An aromatic secondary amine is incorporated to a rubber composition to improve largely flexing resistance, tearing resistance, wearing resistance. n CONSTITUTION: First, (A) a diene rubber such as styrene-butadiene rubber and/or ethylene-propylene rubber are mixed with (B) an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid such as methacrylic acid in a weight ratio of 87/13W55/45. Further, (C) 50W150 parts, per 100 parts of (B), of a divalent metal compound such as zinc oxide, (D) 0.3W10 parts, per 100 parts of (A)+(B), of an organic peroxide such as dicumyl peroxide, (E) 0.1 or more part, per 100 parts of (A)+(B), of an aromatic secondary amine such as N-isopropyl-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine and preferably further (F) a reaction product from an amine and a ketone are added to above rubber mixture to produce said composition n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
