abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition capable of giving molded articles having improved surface appearance, by incorporating (A) a pulverized blend of decabromodiphenyl ether and a metal salt of a fatty acid with (B) a styrene resin. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture of (a) 100 parts by wt. of decabromodiphenyl ether and (b) 3W30 parts by wt. of a powdery, flaky, or bead-like metal salt of a fatty acid, e.g. calcium stearate, zinc stearate, etc., is pulverized and homogeneously blended by a pulverizer to give a blend.
