PURPOSE: To impart semipermanent antistatic properties to a synthetic resin product, without degrading the appearance, heat resistace, etc., by polymerizing a polymerizable compound on a film of hydrated alumina, which is dispersed in a synthetic resin. n CONSTITUTION: A hydrated alumina, e.g. alumina sol, etc. is applied to a substrate, e.g. glass plate, etc. preferably in a thin layer 0.1W2μ thick. A polymerizable compound, e.g. methyl methacrylate, etc. is polymerized on the thin film thus obtained. After curing, the substrate is removed to give a film wherein the hydrated alumina is dispersed in the synthetic resin. Alumina sol containing 0.2W5wt% of alumina pretreated with a silane compound having an organic functional group is preferably used from the view point of improved adhesivity to the polymerizable compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
