abstract | PURPOSE: To detect the defective water sink, by means of a unit for detecting whether the open edge of a water sink is brought into contact with the bottom force. n CONSTITUTION: The top force is pressed from the top of the punched plate 16 positioned and fixed on the bottom force 11 and the water sink 21 which is supported by the supports 18 at the stepped part 21b of the open flange 21a with the upside down. The sink 21 is pressed to part of the elastomer sealing material 13 to come into contact with and to depress the conductive pieces 20a of the touch switches 20 until flush with the top of the bottom force to light a lamp. If the open edge 21a is deformed, the lamp is not lit unless one of the switches is in contact, thus detecting the defective sink. The conductive pieces 20a escape to the cavities 23 upon depressing, and will not apply local stresses to the flange 21a. Thus, nicks or gouges are not caused. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
