titleOfInvention | Polyester resin composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: A polyester resin composition that is composed of a specifically composed aromatic polyester and an amorphous aromatic polyamide, thus being good in heat distortion resistance, mechanical strength, transparency, and processability. n CONSTITUTION: To (A) 100 parts by wt of an aromatic polyester prepared from 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane or its derivative and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid of formula I (Ar is arylene as o-, m-, p-phenylene or naphthylene, which may be substituted with alkyls or halogens) are added (B) 0.1W10 parts, preferably 0.3W5 parts of an aromatic polyamide prepared from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid of formula II (Ar' is Ar) and an aliphatic diamine of the formula: R(NH 2 ) 2 (R is aliphatic hydrocarbon chain). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
