titleOfInvention | Elastic ski boot |
abstract | PURPOSE:To provide an elastic skie boot which is excellent in flexibility and recoverability of elasticity, hard to be torn at low temperature, easy to be formed, preventive of getting mildewed, and moreover, retainable in shape and comfortable to wear independently of temperature change. CONSTITUTION:A ski boot having an upper plate and a sole plate is made up of an elastic polymer material comprising a soft seqment of polyoxyalkylene glycol and/or aliphatic polyester wherein mean molecular weight is nearly 300 to 5000 and ratio of carbon number to oxygen number is 2.0 to 4.5, and a hard segment of aromatic polyester. The elastic polymer is mainly composed of block copolyester 20 to 80 % of which weight is occupied with the soft segment and is corss-linking so as to bring weight ratio of a portion insoluble in orthochlorophenol 20 % and over, furthermore, its surface hardness ranges between 30 and 70 in Shore - D scale. |
