titleOfInvention | Aromatic polyester resin composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: The title composition having improved processing characteristics without lowering heat distortion resistance, mechanical properties, and transparency of a polyester, obtained by adding a non-crystalline aromatic polyamide to a branched aromatic polyester. n CONSTITUTION: A) 100 parts by wt. of a branched aromatic polyester obtained from a) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or its functional derivative, b) a bisphenol, e.g., 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-propane, or its functional derivative, and c) 0.01W 5 moles parts, preferably 0.1W3 moles parts based on 100 moles of the bisphenol of a tri- or polyhydric alcohol (branching agent) is blended with B) 0.1W10 parts by wt., preferably 0.3W5 parts by wt. of a non-crystalline transparent aromatic polyamide obtained by reacting d) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid with e) an aliphatic diamine. n EFFECT: Many molded articles can be produced by a mold having a small gate, and sufficient fluidity for injection molding of a large molded article obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
