titleOfInvention Polymerization of olefin
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a highly stereoregular polyolefin in high yield by using a new catalyst system comprising a solid component consisting of a magnesium halide, etc., a titanium compound, etc. and an electron-donative compound, and a specific organo-metallic compound. n CONSTITUTION: An olefin is (co)polymerized in the presence of a catalyst system comprising (A) a solid component consisting of (a) a magnesium halide, e.g. MgCl 2 , etc., or a manganese halide, e.g. MnCl 2 , etc., (b) a titanium compound, e.g. TiCl 4 , etc., or a vanadium compound, e.g. VCl 3 , etc., and (c) an electron- donative compound, e.g. organic acid ester, etc., and (B) an organometallic compound I or II (M 1 is alkali metal; M 2 is alkaline earth metal; R 1 W R 3 are H or 1W20C hydrocarbon; R 4 is 1W20c hydrocarbon), e.g. III, etc. (≤30 mole on the basis of 1 g atom of metal Ti or V. n EFFECT: The catalyst is highly active and the process removing the catalyst residue is not necessary. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
