titleOfInvention Heat insulation board and its manufacturing
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the gas tightness in the foam molding of an insulation board between a pair of plates, and to enable the repeated use of a mold for a long period thereby simplifying the molding process, by attaching a bent plate, a sealing member and an elastic member to the edge face of the plate before molding. n CONSTITUTION: A heat insulation board which can be easily assembled to, e.g. an air-tight refrigerating chamber, etc. A pair of surface plates 4, 5 such as vinyl- coated steel, etc. having folded edges 4a, 5a, and sealing members 9, 10 attached to the folded edges and made of soft resin, rubber, etc., and parallelly disposed inserting an insulation member 17 therebetween. The plate assembly is put between the molds 16 and 28, and laterally fastened with a mold 18, etc. A first elastic member 11 of the sealing members 9, 10 is inwardly bent by the mold 18. The other side of the sealing members are also deformed by the same way. The air-tightness of the assembled mold can be kept by the first elestic member 11. An urethane foaming liquid is poured into the mold, and foamed to obtain a heat insulation board 8. The board thus manufactured can be easily connected each other and the air- tightness of the joint is kept by the deformed second elastic member 12. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
