abstract PURPOSE: To heighten a consistency increasing property and a drip-point, by adding the alkali or alkaline earth salt of aromatic monocarbonic acid to lubricating grease composition for a roller bearing adopting polyolester as base oil and higher fatty acid sodium salt as a consistency increasing agent. n CONSTITUTION: In lubricating grease employing polyolester as base oil and higher fatty acid sodium salt or sodium 1,2-hydroxystearic acid (For example, sodium stearic acid and sodium hardened ricinus oil fatty acid) as a consistency increasing agent, a consistency increasing property and a drip-point of said lubricating grease are improved by adding the 0.1W20% alkali or alkaline earth salt (For example, sodium benzoic acid or its calcium salt) of aromatic monocarbonic acid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio
