PURPOSE: The title non-pollution adhesive having a long pot life and improved water resistance, comprising a mixture of a water-soluble polymer having hydroxyl groups and carboxymethyl cellulose as a principal ingredient and an acidic catalyst. n CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) a mixture of (a) 100 parts by wt. of a water-soluble polymer, e.g. (1) polyvinyl alcohol, (2) hydroxyethyl cellulose, or (3) methyl cellulose, having hydroxyl groups, and (b) 10W900 parts by wt. of carboxymethyl cellulose as a principal ingredient, and (B) an acidic catalyst, e.g. sulfuric acid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1979,JPO&Japio |
