abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a polyester composition giving a molded article having excellent impact strength and tapping strength, and free from warpage, composed of an aromatic polyester having specific composition, powdered feldspar, poly(ether ester) elastomer, and non-fibrous glass. n CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) an aromatic polyester having a reduced viscosity of ≥0.70 measured in o-chlorophenol at 35°C and at a concentration of 1.2g/100ml, (B) powdery feldspar having an average particle diameter of ≤30μ, (C) a poly (ether ester) elastomer derived from (a) a dicarboxylic acid (or its ester-forming derivative), (b) a low-molecular weight glycol (or its ester-forming derivative) and (c) 5W95wt% of a polyoxyalkylene glycol having an average molocular weight of 500W5000 (or its ester-forming derivative), and (D) non- fibrous glass having an average particle diameter of ≤50μ.
