PURPOSE:To provide an optical switch of thin film, in which a light is transmitted to a thin film containing azobenzene or to a thin film adjacent thereto, and in which irradiation of another light is accomplished to change the refractory index of the former thin film, thereby to obtain the function as an optical switch with ease without resorting to any electric control. |
