abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a retardation film in which the in-plane retardation value of a film including a layer composed of polyvinyl alcohol or a derivative thereof and a water-swellable inorganic layered compound is smaller than the retardation value in the film thickness direction. In an environment, poor durability may occur due to peeling from the transparent resin substrate, and the present invention is directed to providing a retardation film having improved durability and excellent durability. SOLUTION: A retardation film having at least one layer containing at least one kind of organoclay composite dispersible in an organic solvent and having a retardation value in a film plane smaller than a retardation value in a film thickness direction is known. Durability is greatly improved. |
