PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface coating agent which is applied to the surface of an ink jet paper to improve the feathering property and water resistance of a color print by an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The above object can be achieved by polymerizing a monomer containing a di (meth) allylamine-based cationic water-soluble monomer in the presence of a polymer having a vinyl alcohol unit such as polyvinyl alcohol. . |
