titleOfInvention Inkjet recording material
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material having a high ink absorption speed, a large ink absorption capacity, surface glossiness and water resistance. In particular, the present invention provides an inkjet recording material having a photographic luster that is highly demanded in color recording. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording material provided with an ink absorbing layer on a support, the ink absorbing layer contains at least one of γ-type or δ-type aluminum oxide and a water-insoluble binder. The average primary particle diameter of the aluminum oxide is preferably in the range of 10 nm or more and 20 nm or less. Further, it is preferable that the water-insoluble binder is an acetal resin, and it is particularly preferable that the acetal resin has a degree of acetalization of 5 mol% or more and 20 mol% or less.
