abstract | (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a paste-type nickel electrode for a storage battery that does not exhibit irreversible capacity loss during storage and contains an alkaline electrolyte including a current collector and a paste. The electrode is manufactured by coating a current collector with a paste containing: a) an active substance in the form of a powder based on nickel hydroxide; b) conductive particles and a conductive material. A conductive material comprising a mixture with fibers, wherein the conductive particles have an average size D1 of D / 2. Equal to or less than 0, D is the average diameter of the active substance, and the conductive fibers have an average size D2 equal to or less than D, the average length L2 of which is D2 25 times or more of the value of and c) at least one polymer binder. |
